Does a good job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher about a month ago. Two cons, the soap receptacle is hard to close with a Cascade pod in it. I have to try to close it several times before I get it to stay. Also bottom rack easily gets out of alignment and it's kind of hard to get it back on track if the rack is full. Pros are I love the third utensil rack. I cook, and always have large clumsy utensils to wash. That rack is full almost every time I run the dishwasher and the utensils get clean. I also really like the tall lower rack. It's made loading large items easier. I'm very satisfied with the washing and quietness. I often use the quick cycle and it works just fine. I also use normal and delicate cycles. All have cleaned well. I do rinse dishes before washing.

Super Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher installed for a little over a month. It was pretty easy to install and has not been a disappointment in any way, shape or form. This dishwasher is extremely quiet and simple to use. There are plenty of wash cycles to choose from and enough room to hold a large load of dishes. I was initially concerned about how well it was going to perform, based on other reviews; however, I have not had any issues with it. It washes well and dries to my expectations. Some people have said that their dishes come out not clean. My response to that is follow the directions in the book and they won't. I do a simple "rinse" on mine and they are clean. Also, some comment that the dishes are not dry when the dry cycle finished. Mine are not 100% dry; however, my other dishwashers didn't completely dry them either. Two seconds with a towel and not problems. Also, I use a rinse aid. All in all, this is a great buy and great product.

Film on door coming off in less than 2 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given it a five star if the film on door has not come off within such a short time. It takes 2 hours+ to do a regular cycle but it is super-quiet. However LG only gives a one-year warranty to the finishing of the door. Very disappointed. Thought that this should be a lifetime warranty because the film is what gives the stainless steel door it's finished look and easy cleaning feature. Would not have purchased if I have known this. Also, probably not the matching stove or frig either.
Pros: Performance, easy to use

Quietest dishwisher ever!

At first I thought the instruments on the top of the door were hard to see, but now I am used to the design so no problem. The part I am not crazy about is the long silverware tray. It comes apart very easily when full of silverware.

Hate moving tongs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how clean my dishes are, and it might be nice to occasionally fit items at a slant, however loading anything is frustrating as the brackets to allow tines to slant are NOT adequately designed! They change position with the slightest pressure. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!
