[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for about a month, it seems smaller on the inside that the previous one I had but yet they are the same size. Sometimes the dry mode doesn't dry the dishes and there are not plastic but things like glasses and silverware. The operation of the unit is very quiet. It's hard to read the modes on top. The racks always seem to fall down even after I have pulled them all back up. The small space at the top for bigger utensils I liked but these sometimes do not come clean either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the design. The top shelf is great for knives and small parts but it hasn't lasted. We purchased this in July of 2015. It's now Nov 2017. The soap dispenser lid constantly sticks. I tried cleaning it with a toothbrush and vinegar repeatedly but don't bother anymore and just leave it open. Dishes come out clean only if I pre-wash them so pretty much everything is clean before I run the load. Even butter left on a knife will leave it looking awful after the cycle is done. I've tried different detergents and nothing matters. I clean the filter regularly and run an empty load with vinegar. Now there's an awful squeeling noise during almost the entire cycle. Poor quality. A dishwasher should last more than 2 years.

It sings to me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first LG appliance and it will not be our last. A quick rinse of the crumbs and the dishes and utensils is all we do. Spaghetti, fried eggs, cheese casseroles, butter, everything goes into the washer and when the dishwasher is finished and plays a song for me, the dishes are perfectly clean and the glasses have never been so sparkling.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Loved the Dishwasher at first but not anymore!

We purchased the Dishwasher in April of 2017. We were happy to have an upgrade from our old white dishwasher when we moved to stainless appliances. I felt like we spent "a little extra" to have a nicer dishwasher. Fact is, not everything gets clean. Glasses always look terrible. The drying function takes so long and dishes aren't dry. 2 hours 19 minutes is a long time for a Dishwasher cycle. Most recently and most noteworthy. Our Dishwasher water pump just died. 2 years after we purchased, just before 2 years when we received it with delivery. I would think that a nicer dishwasher should last a bit longer than this without repairs. Just disappointed with the overall product.

Broken after less than two years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have already had two issues with this dishwasher. I really loved it for the first year and then the motherboard went out. I am now getting the runaround from LG on repairs.

Poor performance -Don't buy LG!

We bought this a few years ago and it has never cleaned dishes well. The soap dispenser routinely fails to open or is only partially dispensed. We have tried different dishwashing soaps (no change), avoiding loading dishes in the bottom quarter of the dishwasher (helpful but it still fails regularly), and changing water temperature and wash cycle (no change). We somewhat improved the washing quality by removing the silverware rack completely. I've rated it a 1 for quality, features, and value because, although the features look great on paper, they don't work (ie top silverware rack, different wash cycles).

Ok not great

Very quiet, will give you that. If the bottom rack gets off track once it's loaded, it's VERY HARD to get back on track. That 3rd rack is a joke and it's very flimzy. They move up and down but they are very cheap. Don't like that I have to clean the crud from the bottom filter. Never had a dishwasher I had to clean. Also I like choices. It doesn't have a HEAT DRY setting. Unfortunately you don't find out about all this stuff until you start using it. I've learned my lesson and will now read as many reviews as I can find in the future! Never will buy another LG product. I don't like the stove either! The grids are too high up from the flames. Takes forever to cook. And on the microwave, again NO CHOICE, the clock does not stay on 24/7. I depend on the clock when I use the oven to see the time. I had a package deal so that is why everything is LG. The refrigerator is ok. Never again!!!

Purchased this for a newly constructed house. Just installed in March 2019. This dishwasher is very quiet and gets the dishes clean. I hate the racks. The dishes will not fit right in the racks. The plates will not stand up. They constantly fall over. The tines on the racks will not stay up. The configuration of the racks are horrible. I bought all match LG products. Had I known how the racks would be I probably would have gotten a different one.
