GOOD DISHWASHER

LG lives up to its name of quality products. The only issue I have is that it doesn't signal whether the dishwasher is clean or dirty after it completes. Other manufactures leave a light on when it completes its washing cycle.
Pros: Performance

VERY QUITE!!!

I like the unit, very quite, but there are a few items I thought I'd like better. The top small rack is nearly worthless cause anything you put up there must be near flat or the spinning spray bar hits then and then nothing is cleaned, also the wine glass holders are a waste or time. Not sure I really like all the adjustable racks, as I thought I would, just too many options and I find them falling down a lot of times...
To many crazy settings to be honest, none of them clean any better than my old cheap unit; it still all depends on how you load you machine... You load it all jammed up with food on the plates, then that's what comes out. Not finding any of the settings improving the quality of the wash and most wash settings are well over 2 hour washes...

My wife wanted this because the tines lay flat. That is nice and works nice for the pans.
The layout though when putting in cereal bowls, the space between tines is too much so they flop instead of stand up.
The bottom tray keeps coming off the track, not a big deal but still aggravating.
Biggest issue is cleaning. We have to pre-clean pots, pans and especially the spatulas and large stirring spoons for cooking (teflon/rubber).
Lastly when I've had multiple pans, to put them on edge the space between tines again is too wide and they flop around.
Overall, I'd recommend based on the price, but I'd look for something laid out better if I were to replace it.

This is the most innovative efficient dishwasher I have ever seen!! The third rack for oversized cooking utensils and cutlery is genius!! Adjustable racks and fold down tines to make room for bigger items is intelligent and it is soooo quiet unbelievable !!!

EASY RACK is ineffective

we have trouble fitting glasses in and many times when you close the racks glasses or plates fall over!
i do not like the way this is sectioned and i regret this purchase
the cycle is long
it is quiet
Pros: poor rack design

After researching new dishwashers on the internet and in stores, I find this model to be exactly what I needed. For the price, it is the best in the market. It also has remote diagnostic system that I consider a brilliant, forward thinking addition from LG. Highly recommended.

Quiet!

Love this dishwasher. We have an open concept floor plan, and this dishwasher is nice and quiet. I like the different positioning of both the drawers and the grid posts so all of my dishes, from coffee cups to pots and pans, can fit in the same load. My dishes come out great every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher makes things way more complicated than it needs to be. The racks are flimsy and set up in a weird way, making it hard to get dishes to fit nicely. I feel like I'm trying to solve a puzzle every time I load my dishes. The adjustable racks would be nice if they actually stayed in place once you adjusted them to your liking.
