Beautiful Output - Easy Setup

The machine came in overnight shipping; and we were worried because the box was caved in on one side - BUT - the factory had done such a marvelous job packaging the printer, no harm was done (that we can determine).
It took only about 15 minutes to set the machine up, plug in the ink tanks, and get the wifi and mobile printing app set up to print. The images were breathtakingly beautiful with the colors on plain paper so I can't wait to see what we get when we print in photo paper!
I would say at this point, I am happy with it, and looking forward to being able to print forever on the two-years worth of ink advertised that came with the machine!

I hooked this printer up and put it to work. In the past two days it has printed over 2,000 pages and it hasn't had a single problem

I've only had the printer for a few weeks, but so far, I love it!! Just the thought of not having to think about ink for 2 years relieves a lot of stress; I can just print without thinking about it!!
It's a HUGE robust machine, but even that contributes to my feeling of satisfaction. Just don't plan on taking it upstairs by yourself. The thing was wheeled up to my front door by the deliver driver and when I saw it, I thought it was a mistake - they must have sent me the wrong one, probably for a large office - but no, it was really the right one.
Buy it without any reservation and enjoy the next two worry free years!!

Great Printer

My initial impression is that this is a very nice printer. Set up was easy. Print quality is very good and it has printed some nice photos which is an added plus. I like the large capacity paper drawers and the rear sheet feeder to handle photo paper and card stock. It was larger than I expected, but I've become accustomed to the size. It's not silent, but is quiet for a printer. This printer replaces another printer that was performing well, but could not keep up with the volume. It was always running out of paper and ink. Although much more expensive up front, the low price per copy, and the fact that I don't have to constantly monitor paper and change ink cartridges is a plus. This printer's ink bags should outlast five to six sets of ink cartridges in the other printer which will result in a huge savings on ink. I like the printer and am happy that I made the decision to buy it.

Great Concept

This is a great concept over purchasing a CISS system and using non-Epson inks in your old Workforce printers. I've already tried cheap cartridge replacements in my old Workforce. After 200 pages, my ink heads became clogged. What a mess that was. BUT WHY DIDN'T THEY BUILD A MANUAL PAPER TRAY INTO THIS PRINTER SO IT WILL HANDLE 11 x17 and card stock? Users who go through this much ink are pretty much doing in-house "presentation quality" printing. We need to print on all sorts of sizes and stock. Will give it 5 stars when they increase the paper handling.

LOVE the idea but .... Quality still substandard

Trying to get the printer to smear less. Only get average quality printing when I select the "Quality" mode. In standard mode the printer often prints lines out of focus or smeared.
Have tried cleaning print heads multiple times but it still prints blank spaces and spots in the "BK" block.
Firmware is up to date as of this writing. Have not tried returning printer or exchanging printer yet.

Really hope I can get this corrected, because I Would love this to be our workhorse printer for all our volume brochure printing.

This model is a bit more expensive but well worth it.
Easy to setup change ink. Not that you would be changing ink that often.
