Everything you want in a state of the art TV!!

This model is everything you will need in a television. Ease of use, simplicity of installation and just awe inspiring picture quality! I've been researching different TV's for more than a year and this did not disappoint. OLED is not yet ready for prime time, so this is best available for this size and price range. I recommend a Peerless or other high quality articulating wall mount. Do not skimp on a cheap mount. You get what you pay for.......and this is worth the money. You will not be disappointed with this TV!!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, picture quality and clarity, ease of installation
Cons: not for the budget shopper

After Carefull Research, Met all my expectations and then some!

I purchase this 4K SUHD TV to replace a 75" Samsung HD TV that went bad. The difference between the 2 technologies is amazing!! For me, everything that was advertised about this 4K SUHD TV was right on. The 4K up scaling from HD dramatically enhances the picture quality, color, sharpness, detail, & brightness, which is extremely noticeable not just for me, but for my wife too especially when re-watching HD movies or programs that we originally watched on our old HD TV. We're always saying, WOW we didn't notice that before! Also, even though this 4K SUHD TV does not have 3D, for me the quality of the picture is so dramatic that you get the depth perception of 3D without the glasses. Our old HD TV had 3D, so 3D was a factor in my research for a new TV. With my new 4K SUHD TV, I didn't need it, As for the sound its OK, but if your going to invest in a large TV of this nature you should think of some kind of theater sound system.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, beautiful picture, exceptional clarity & detail
Cons: heavy, expensive

I waited and research extensively before buying and decided to buy the JS8600 so glad I did. Huge tv and beautiful display, got a great deal on it also. I would totally recommend.

4K SUHD JS8600 Series Smart

this is by far one of my best purchases this year. Once I mated this tv to the Samsung curved sound bar it transformed my home from ordinary to amazing. The quality of Samsung products are so far superior to others I've tried in the past so now everything in my home from kitchen to entertainment is now Samsung all the way. Keep up the extraordinary work and you will have me my family and friends as lifetime customers

Beautiful picture and huge! Samsung has the best up scaling out there. Just wish this TV was 3d as well. This is my 4th 4k tv only need to upgrade one more to 4k and it will be a Samsung just like the rest of my tvs.

This Samsung TV exceeds my expectations

Had it for six weeks now and must say this TV exceeds my expectations in any aspect. I choose this model since I do not like the curved screens, even with this size (78 inch) it is only a gimmick making no sense. First and for all I’m very impressed by the quality of the picture, had to tweak a little bit with the settings to find the best ones for every source I use, of course the best picture quality I get with my Oppo BDP-103D Blu-Ray Player, Darbee still makes a positive difference even with the image up scaled to 4k by the TV. Tried a few short HDR Ultra-HD demo/trailer videos via USB and the picture is of a stunning quality like I have never seen before. If this is the future with the soon to be released Ultra HD Players and UHD Blu-Ray’s I’m very much looking forward to it, hope they will release lots of quality High Dynamic Range Movies and Concerts. I noticed playing HDR files the TV is using more power since my battery backup gets to its limit when playing in HDR mode. I had my previous TV professional calibrated (ISF) I cannot imagine the picture in this one does get any better. The only negative I have is that this model has only edge lit LED backlights, not full array. The blooming in dark scenes reaching to the black bars on top and bottom when watching a movie and can be distracting but only to me so far, saying only if you know where to look for. I guess the only real solution is buying an OLED but unfortunately, this technique has other issues as well. Very happy camper here.

So Close Yet so Far!!!

This would've been my dream TV, but Samsung dropped the ball on this model. I have but only 2 (albeit egregious) gripes.
#1) There's no 3D! I made the grand presumption that a TV of this caliber would have 3D! Am I to disregard the fact that I have dozens & dozens of 3D Blu-rays?!?
#2) A TV that costs this much should have Full Array Backlighting!

I'm returning this unit for a 3D TV. I can't wait until the Curved Fad is a forgotten folly.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, no 3d!!!, no full array backlight!!!
