Better Performance is Needed

As a basic television, the product is great. As a "smart" television, it's not. Apps fail to open, are slow to load, fail to load content and crash pretty regularly. These televisions need more computing power and a more solid and reliable operating system to run at levels that meet consumer expectations.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, shoddy operating system, slow operation
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

4K SUHD JS7000 Series Smart TV - 55" was one of several SUHD sets we were considering when deciding to replace the 47" set (non-Samsung) that had served well for many years. We were fortunate that all of the sets we had considered were on display and functioning when we went to make our choice. The balnce of image, features size and price made this the best choice for us.
Pros: Realistic color, Built-in speakers

A great TV for the money

I was tempted to go with a higher spec. version of this series but in the end decided that this model actually fulfilled all my needs.
Turns out this was a good decision. This set offers a stunning picture from any HD source and all the connections you are likely to need.
It was necessary to adjust the picture settings to my taste, otherwise everything works as it should and the sound is very much better than I expected.
I have given only 4 stars for design because the bezel, although very narrow does not enhance this set as far as appearance goes and I think Samsung could have been more imaginative here.
Otherwise, vary hard to fault

Outstanding in all respects save assembly. 2 person assembly and a large surface (table) required, but worth it.
