I BOUGHT THIS BEAUTIFUL LOOKING AND SOUNDING UNIT TO PLAY PANDORA FROM MY SAMSUNG UHD 750D TV IN ANOTHER ROOM...THAT'S WHY YOU BUY A WIRELESS SPEAKER.
TURNS OUT I CAN HEAR PANDORA ON THE WAM1500 OR THE 750D UHD TV BUT NOT BOTH!!! IT IS EITHER OR...HOW STUPID, WILL HAVE TO RETURN A BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS PRESENT.

The little speakers that could

I tried them in the store and was satisfied with the sound. I was in the market for wireless surrounds that would connect to a sound bar and not add yet another box to my setup. I confirmed that the R1's would work with the HW-J650 bar and grabbed two.
Initial setup took maybe two minutes.
Plug in,
give it a few seconds to find your WiFi,
download and install the multiroom app
Find speakers in the GUI
Enter WiFi password
Accept Samsung as your master (legal stuff..tl:dr)
When you Unbox speakers, Make sure you've removed ALL packing material off the speaker itself. It was wrapped in plastic wrap and I hadn't noticed... Sounded like a broken speaker. Almost took it back... Oops! Removed plastic and it sounded better but still muted. Played some more music until I finally touched the speaker... It also had a black heavy stock paper around the foam... Duh! After I removed the paper, it sounded great. Two of them Definitely fill the room they are intended for. A few days later I got my new tv and sound bar and connected them all together...WOW! Definitely a recommended setup. Find myself looking for movies to watch in that room every night. Now if I could find speaker stands for them...

Easy to Use and Great Sound

The speaker set up in no time flat and the multi-room app was very easy to use. I set the speaker in a central spot on our first floor and it puts out quality sound loud enough to hear throughout the first floor. And that is not even on a very high volume setting! I have since ordered another unit (don't ask me why because I really don't have a good reason --- but it was the R-5 unit) and found it equally easy to set up and very easy to control both units, grouping them together for the same source or playing different sources. Very happy with them.
Pros: Durable

This is the most amazing speaker. At 60% volume, it is extremely loud and sounds great. I am scared to raise the volume higher than that because it is so loud. I love the bass the speaker produces. My absolute favorite feature is being able to turn bluetooth and/or wifi on and off without even touching the speaker (you have to have the app).
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: gets warm

Connecting a free you download the app is super simple. I have an R1 and decided to get the size bigger. They both work very well with each other and just as well separate.
When in wifi mode you don't have the interruptions like you do in bluetooth and you can be on a call while it's playing. It doesn't support google play music which was/is a huge downside for us or i would have given 5 stars. Loud and great sound.

It's sound quality is better than any other docks available in the market.its easier to carry and its rechargeable so it makes easier to use

This is a dumb machine. It cannot connect to my desired machines - all Samsung
