This product has all the features needed in a high end wireless speaker.

This product was easy to set up to my net work, was able to control using the multiroom apps from my smart phones.
The only problem was the application kept crashing when ran from the desktop computers.

Excellent wireless speaker for money!

The Samsung R1 is a nicely designed and well made wireless speaker that offers some genuinely useful features. It's cylindrical shape is unusual and the touch sensitive controls make for an effective alternative to the Multiroom App. The R1 is designed to connect to your home network via WiFi but you also have the alternative of using Bluetooth. For those with a compatible Samsung TV there's also TV SoundConnect and the R1 can form part of a multiroom system. We found setting up and controlling the R1 easy and the performance was very good, with the speaker creating an open and room-filling sound. The omni-directional nature of the design means that you can place the speaker just about anywhere and even when moving around the room the sound remains balanced. The mid-range and higher frequencies are well rendered and although bass is a little lacking, it's still a good sounding speaker that delivers value for money and is worthy of a recommendation.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, loud, high frequency, great sound
Cons: lack of little bass

Works very well with my news Samsung TV with Bluetooth. I'm please with the speaker which I can control separately from the TV speaker with my remote control.

After using this speaker myself, I can honestly say I'm very impressed for multiple reasons.
First off, the looks. It is very modern looking and very professional in any setting. Also, it lacks any button being a touch-interface product making it very unique in that aspect as well.
Now most importantly, the product is very loud. I like to use it as an alarm clock since it can ACTUALLY WAKE ME UP. I mostly use it to listen to music though, it fills my entire room and even those near by with my awesome music of choice.
It also has its own app that you can pair with being to control the volume of the speaker with it.
The only downside, however, is that the app (with the alarm clock) does not allow me to use my music as an alarm sound but instead has its own standard choices and a random choice-list.
Also, it does not stay on the entire time its in use. If I go to sleep while syncing my own alarm to it, it will turn off in the middle of the night.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, sheik, modern, loud

Great value for price!

Recent sale persuaded us to purchase this to replace a 10 year old plasma tv. While I am very pleased with the TV and the support I have gotten from Samsung, I actually purchased this TV thinking I could use the 360R speaker with it. And after getting it home and set up and calling Samsung that speaker does not work with this TV. Disappointed with that fact but not with the TV. It is a excellent TV and still cant' believe the cost. Just hope it lasts a long time...Had an issue with it dropping my network but contacted Samsung and they told me what to do and why it happened in a matter of minutes. The service has been excellent from Samsung.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
