Good sound

I purchased one of the 360 R1 speakers and liked it so much I now own four. For the price the speakers sound great and the fact that they are wireless means no mess of wires running from my stereo to the speakers. I'm very pleased and would recommend them to others.

Not worth the money

I bought a Samsung 650 sound bar and two Samsung radiant R1 speakers for a surround sound set up. I worked well for about a month. After that, the connection constantly drops out. The radiant R1 speakers will randomly not be recognized by the multiroom app so I have to reset my speakers about once a month, sometimes more often. The surround sound speakers barely make a sound when they used to provide a good surround sound effect. You can't control the rear speakers independent of the front soundbar. Now, my speakers won't connect together to form a surround sound group even though the app recognizes all my speakers. Overall, I spent a lot on the setup and it doesn't even work. My rear speakers just are sitting on my shelf collecting dust. I am currently looking at different wireless speaker system and would easily spend double what I spent on Samsung for a functional system that actually performs like a surround sound system.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, connection issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My initial impression was "WOW ". Great Design, Awesome Sound , incredible Value then, you have to reset and reset and reset. The interface between my phone and speaker required a reset almost every single time I went to use it. Too much work, not fun. I called tech support and they simply said "yes, please reset". I get it if it was once a week or so but every time ?
I will be returning all 4 I purchased.

This little speaker is a powerhouse. LOVE IT!!!! Get the Samsung Multiroom App and it syncs with your iPhone and all your music is instantly available to play and control from your phone. AWESOME!!! 5 STARS!!

this is a great product. i have a BOSE MINI. the Samsung R1 is way superior in sound. only wish it was rechargeable. then PERFECT
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: need to be ac free recharge by usb

App does not support Amazon Prime or Google music manager

Speaker sounds okay, but the fact that I can not listen to the majority of my music with the multi speaker app makes this purchase a mistake. No Google music manager or Amazon Prime music. Right now I regret this purchase should have gone with Sonos.

Can't hold a BT signal

If I connect via BT to the device the signal breaks up all of the time. I can't do anything else with either the phone or the computer if it's connected via BT because the signal breaks up.
Really poor. I like the concept but implementation is pretty sad.

Nothing works on this thing

My parents bought this for me because they thought "wireless" meant "portable." Nope. That's not the biggest problem though. The bluetooth on this device is awful. The tonality of this speaker incredibly muffled. No midrange. Muddy bass. Weak, narrow treble. . The functionality of this speaker really is to plug into the surround sound of other, better speakers. But the sound out of this thing is terrible. Worse than a $10 pair of earbuds. Truly awful at any price point. My 50 dollar computer speakers are better. And while the spotify wifi connect feature is interesting, spotify only allows you to connect to one device at a time and you do NOT want music only playing out of this thing. Don't buy this. Don't buy more than one of these to put in different rooms.
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, buggy bluetooth, limited wifi capabilities, weak treble, muddy bass, muffled midtones, gimmicky interface
