A Year Old and Into the Trash.

Hot mess. Originally connected the 8720 to an ancient iMac- hard enough to set up (wirelessly), but at least it printed. Upgraded to a Mac Studio M2 Max (Sonoma 14.4) a month ago and this printer will not connect. At all. Bought this printer a bit over a year ago and this thing's off to the trash. Expensive piece of e-junk. Unsatisfied with the prints I did manage to get from the iMac (NOT Canon's fault- so old, I couldn't update to the appropriate printer drivers). Read/watched reviews before purchase and this seemed the right choice even though in 2023 it was a printer already long in the tooth. As alluded, the Township is having an electronics trash day coming up and I can't wait to heave this into a dumpster and watch it satisfyingly shatter against the wall (yeh, with an all new set of cartridges). Have wasted SO MUCH TIME trying to set this up. Hate. Hate Epson, but if it connects- that's way more than this ever managed on the Mac Studio.

Colors don't match imac 4k screen colors

I bought my first one on December, but it had lines going across the print, so Canon sent a new ip8720. The new one works fine but the colors don't match the edited images through Lightroom on my imac. Overall not satisfied with this product.

The colors are great. It uses a lot of ink. I couldn't set it up without tech support. But, tech support is great. It doesn't print double sided documents. No display screen. It's okay but I would not purchase this model again. I would like to return it but the model that I want is not available and I need the printer now.

No icc profiles, Colors arent even close to what's on monitor. You will waste a ton of paper trying to match colors. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER, IT'S USELESS.

Unable to connect to network

I tried to connect the printer to the network with 2 Mac, 2 PC, 1 iPhone, never connected to the network, the instructions in Spanish are not clear, they say things inconsistent. It's a shame that I have to go back, because if you have very beautiful prints.
