I received my coffee maker a few weeks ago and have used it just about every day since. I love not having to brew a big pot of coffee to enjoy only a cup or two. It takes up very little space on the counter, the colors are cute, and the coffee is good. Price was right. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one to give to my daughter in college!

The brewer works great. It's just a problem with the mug. It does not keep the coffee warm for very long at all and it leaks. We cannot get it to seal so it drips all over you. We just have to find a different mug that fits the brewer.

Great for fast coffee...but wish it was slower.

I needed a maker with very small footprint so I knew I was sacrificing features vs. counter space. One button operation/auto-shutoff is easy and fool-proof, I just wish it had the Strong Brew option other M.C. models have. Great for those in a hurry but makes weak coffee. Therefore I use a lot more than I think I should for the volume of water. Tastes good, but will cost me in the long run. Thermal mug is very sturdy & leakproof. I first tested with tap water, shook it hard, not a drop came out. Keeps warm for a decent amount of time, but I have better insulated mugs that retain heat longer. Aesthetically: it's very stylish & bold red color. Have owned for 2 months, no problems. Unlike other reviews, I have no sediment/silt in my cup using the permanent filter (which feels rather flimsy), I mix 1/2 scoop espresso (Bustello or Pilon) with 3 scoops Folgers so it might happen to users with a finer grind. I get silt when using any of my French presses so I knew what to look for. BTW, it's made in China, I tried to find a unit made in USA but could only find big industrial makers or the dreaded "K" machine. That's my story and I'm sticking to it, 'cause I've got no reason to lie.
