I purchased this a month ago for an out of town trip and it was perfect. Lightweight for packing and on the go. Best part is I'm able to brew a cup of my favorite Tim Horton or Starbucks rather than the hotel brands. Also I use it at home for a quick cup when I'm on the go. Love it!!

I bought this about a month ago am a avid coffee drinker, I never leave home without my coffee. Wanted just one cup of coffee at times and this looked like it could do the job. It does!!! One downfall is I wasn't expecting the coffee cup to be so heavy, hard to pick up while driving plus straws have to be longer if you use them. I put two together and then cut to fit. Otherwise I love it!!!

This coffee maker set is great. I'm the only one at home that drinks coffee. This setup is prefect for my every morning coffee need. This machine is able to fit other brands travel mug or cup. It's compact, I can just place anywhere I want. Bought 2, one at home, another one in the office. The reusable filter is doing a good job to filter most the coffee grain. I grin my coffee to medium. A fine coffee mix will not work, at medium grin, the filter is able to filter 95% of it. Left a bit of fine grin at the bottom. The machine also auto turns off after the coffee is done. The thermo travel mug that's included is pretty good. But it can't keep the coffee hot for too long. I just keep it for backup or use it during the summer. At least it doesn't leak.

I've used this every day for over a month. Coffee comes out weaker than with my previous one cup brewer. I use same amount of H2O and coffee. It also leaves a mess after every cup. The splatter on the back is from my use of a smaller mug- that is understandable. The pool of coffee on the bottom happens from the residual drips after I take out my cup. I usually grab my coffee and head out the door, leaving the cleaning of the grounds until I get home and make another. I need the space so have made adjustments and just deal with the mess it makes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
