It does not get got enough to remain hot for more than a few minutes. And I have to stand there waiting for it to finish since you habe to unplug it to stop it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my Mr. Coffee for a few months and I love it! No pods or K cups to mess with and I can make my cup as strong as I like. I also love that I don't have to use coffee filters. I had a Keurig which was terribly expensive (not to mention the cost of K cups) and it stopped working after six months. Mr. Coffee takes about the same amount of time to brew my coffee and it tastes so much better. If you're on the fence about purchasing this personal coffee maker don't hesitate. It's a great product!

I recently purchased this for a trip tp Cabo. Although you have coffee included with your stay, you must get up, get dressed and go to the buffet. I was thinking oh this be to big. Have to say it was perfect. Fit right on the side of my suitcase inside and I packed around it. Carried coffee with me and creamer. Had my own American coffee every morning. It actually makes about 16 ounces so plenty to share and make another. Quick and easy to clean to. My friend enjoyed it so much she brought one when she got home. Best $20 I've ever spent

I bought this wonderful coffee maker a few weeks ago. I love it to pieces but it does not keep my coffee hot nor warm, it's a good thing i like cold coffee. I would love to have hot coffee at least 30 minutes out of a day. What can be done about my wonderful coffee thermal cup?

Purchased a month ago for husband who is deployed and so far so good. He loves the size of the mug and said the set up is the right size for a small place.
