Best LeapPad Yet

LeapFrog has done it again and come out wit the best LeapPad yet. I really like the bigger screen (7 inches this time) and my kids are enjoying the new games.
The Imagicards add an entirely new dimension to the gaming process.
They take a picture of the card which allows them to unlock new features of the game. My kids especially like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game. I like knowing that they aren't just playing a game, but learning as well.
Pros: Fun for kids, Grows with child, Good for on-the-go play, Educational

Educational, Tough, And Peace Of Mind

First off, I was given the LeapPad Platinum with a set of Imagic cards for review, however the opinions stated here are my own. I love this tablet. LeapFrog offers some of the best educational app and games out there, and I love that my kids are learning when they use the tablet. The new LeapPad Platinum is also built to last with a shatter-safe screen and wrap around bumper. I also like the new stylus that has a soft tip. This tablet also comes with 8GB of memory and has a high-performance processor.
I also love the peace of mind I have with LeapFrog products. I know that my kids won't accidentally stumble across something on their tablet that I wouldn't approve of, and I know they won't be purchasing any apps or games without my knowledge.
Overall I love this tablet and the Imagic cards. The kids love how the cards "come to life" when they play with them.
I highly recommend this product!

We have been fans of LeapFrog for a long time. I love that I can trust this company to have my child's educational interests at heart. The LeapPad Platinum and Imagicards are just another addition to the incredible LeapFrog family. We were absolutely thrilled to receive it! I love that all of our old games are still compatible, and that the imagicards are functional on the older tablets. The games keep my daughter engaged even long after she has mastered the educational content. This product is 100% worth the investment!

Another Great Tablet Up-Grade!

We have been using this tablet for a few weeks now. I have it set up for my 5-year-old and my 2-year-old. While my 2-year-old still prefers the ipad for games and movies, My 5-year-old uses the LeapPad a lot and loves all the options it comes with. Of course like with the others he LOVES the camera and video features. I love the leapfrog library and interactive educational games, although I have to say, they can get expensive and we will prob only buy two or three. The screen is a great size and easy to see, and they stylus connects to the screen perfectly and helps keep the screen finger smudge free. He is speech delayed and is a little behind in reading skills, so I love devices like this that can add an extra "fun" way to learn. The tablet itself is rugged and stands up to drops and tosses. It's easy for both of them to turn it on and log in to find what they want to do. *I received a LeapPad at no cost for review purposes only, however ALL opinions stated and comments about my boys are 100% my own!

So much fun, but super educational!

My 3 year old daughter has shown very little interest in me teaching her the alphabet or numbers and can't retain anything. So when we got the Leappad Platinum with the Paw Patrol game on it, she is finally taking an interest in learning it because she's having so much fun on it! We've only had it a short time but I feel confident that she will make progress with learning. I sit next to her while she plays so I can help her pick out the right cards and still have fun. This Leappad is the best one yet--big screen, better resolution, still super durable for kids. I'm sure she will use it a lot for a long, long time.

New and exciting LeapPad

We have been fans of LeapFrog products for many years. I really appreciate the educational games, kid-friendly design and quality of all LeapFrog products. The LeapPad Platinum really is a great step up from the last LeapPad model.
The tablet is significantly larger, and has great resolution. It also charges via a cord and doesn’t require batteries, which we appreciate. The tablet is also very durable, which any parent of young kids will appreciate! We also appreciated the kid-safe web search functionality on the LeapPad Platinum. It sure makes it easier to allow our 7 year old to be “online.”
The LeapPad Platinum has a great memory to hold photos and videos. My 7 year old loves being able to take her own photos and videos. The Pet game on the LeapPad Platinum is also a lot of fun.

Great Product

We are big Leap Frog fans around this house, and this product did not disappoint. The interactive feature between the physical cards and digital game is really awesome. The kids love seeing the animals come to life on their screen! And I feel that it really breaks up the "Screen Stare" when they are asked to find another card.
The Paw Patrol game - which we currently have - includes all the cards digitally as well. So we can take the game on the road without having to deal with the physical cards.
My favorite feature is the 8GB memory to hold all our favorite LeapFrog games.

Excellent Learning Tool!

I recently received the LeapPad Platinum and a set of Imagicard Learning cards at no cost for review purposes.
The new LeapPad Platinum is an amazing learning tool! The device is rechargeable (yay! no more batteries) and durable. We've been using LeapPad products for the last few years, and this new device does not disappoint.
Great resolution on the 7" screen and easily to follow instructions provided via demonstrations are perfect for emerging readers. The Imagicard Learning Cards were fun, too! We enjoyed playing with them as a family and my son had fun with independent play.
With over 1000 games and activities available, there is no worry about your child becoming bored. This is perfect to encourage summer learning without your child balking at summer schooling!
The LeapPad Platinum also has wi-fi capabilities allowing children to safely browse the web.
The Platinum is a substantial upgrade from previous versions and we'd recommend to friends in a heartbeat!
