Waste of money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a terrible time with our washer. Every once in a while no matter how little soap we use, it dumps water onto our laundry room floor. We called LG and they said, on this is normal. Seriously? After just 6 years the gasket broke so we had to get rid of it. We have the Side Kick too and it is a waste of money. I will never buy another LG washer and dryer.

Good washer

We inherited this machine from the previous home owner. It’s 9 years old, so I don’t expect it to work perfectly. However, the machine has given us trouble with the drive train twice, and this time we had to wait for the right part to arrive.

very disappointing after 4 years warranty expiration machine broke down and it cost as much as a new one to fix. mistake to have it repaired

Would not buy LG again

No good. Delicates automatically washed on hot. Repair person (while under warranty) said it was meant to be reset, not used at that temp for that setting. Does not clean clothes. Stinks like sewer despite regular cleaning of all parts, emptying trap, and leaving door open when not in use. Service hard to arrange
