Radio Streaming Volume

Sound is great, but lack of clock/alarm function

I don't understand how differicult to add the auto shutdown and wake up function, it should be done with a simple firmware update!

Excellent sound, but needs improvement with wifi

I bought this the SoundTouch 30 two weeks ago. Unit has beautiful sound and deep reach bass which in line with the BOSE reputation. I wish the unit were a little more tech friendly. I find the unit cannot be powered on and off with my iPhone. Also, when installing the app on another family members phone, I need to reset the wifi and go through several steps to set up. Technology is a little finicky and may require a customer support phone call. My opinion is Wifi technology within the unit is behind the times and you should not purchase with expectation of connecting unit With Google home and other providers allowing complete wifi control of unit.
I was also able to link sound touch 30 unit with my lifestyle 135 unit. However, it's a finicky process to complete and I had to reinstall a couple of times. Finally got to work through resetting system.

Small but powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting this portable speaker for quite some time. Got it for a great price during Christmas. The sound is excellent just like Bose reputation. The set up is easy. Have no problem connecting any devices to the speaker. It may be slow swiching from wifi to bluetooth sometime but just need to close the app and open it again. The sound fulls the whole house easily. May not be as portable as the newer version due to it weight.

Great Features

I love both of my sound touch 30s. I have one in my living room that can be heard well throughout my entire downstairs and one in my bedroom. I enjoy using Spotify and Pandora through it and I've connected my TV to it as well and just use the AUX feature. The only problem I have is that apple music can't be played directly through it, so when I get a call on my phone it stops the music :-(

Does not disappoint

I bought my mom the SoundTouch 30 for her birthday & thought "great my mom will have an upgraded Bluetooth/WIFI speaker - that sounds good for the size. She had the ORIGINAL soundlink speaker. I decided to test the speaker out and set it up for her. I played Sting and Toni Braxton and was blown away. I didn't expect the sound to be so huge and rich. Needless to say, I bought one for myself. Great sound! One minor drawback is not being able to listen to / toggle audio between your respective music and Facebook video/audio. Other than that I am extremely impressed with the quality!
