Great speaker, trash software

Speaker is awesome Bose quality. If you want to use the music library on your computer, plan on re-installing the app every time. Ongoing problem for about six months. The app generally has a weird interface with Amazon Music, and the issue with not having any useful iTunes functionality from our music library has me reconsidering my brand loyalty.

Great sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using ST 30 and ST 10 since they introduced. First I bought ST 30 and then I bought ST 10. I like both speakers ST 30 has more bass and sound. I am using it in my bedroom. I have a con is only ST 30's LED brightness. It's too bright in the bed room. Also it faces to my bed. I like to add an option to display off. ST 10 does not have display but ST 30 is sounds good for my relaxing sleep music. Ans definitely apps was lagging but its far better now. I am using another ST10 at my workplace. I like bose's presets when compare with Sonos. You don't need to use apps always. And the remote is a good add. I also use the wireless adapter for my old stereo system. I wish a remote for it too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker is insane for its size. Clarity is amazing and stays that way up to about the 90 percentile volume vise. This speaker doesn’t fill a room it fills a house and possibly your neighbors. The bass is best part of this speaker, Wall pounding at higher volumes. If anything I could see most consumers turning the bass down. Would recommend this product to anyone.

I recently purchased this item for home use. I wanted a speaker to connect directly to my iMac and stream via Bluetooth. At first I found the same issue others have mentioned with way too much base I kept getting a mid-range tone feedback, perhaps due to placing it on a shelf directly in front of a wall. I kept trying to adjust the iTunes equalizer to compensate. I finally ended up downloading both the phone and mac app and synced them with the system. The app on my mac easily synced with my iTunes but I found the sound to be very flat. I found that streaming via bluetooth produced a crisp clear reproduction. I was amazed it was similar or better to the analog 3.5 mm mini jack connection. My advice for the base is to download the SoundTouch app and there you will find an option to adjust the base. Once I dropped it from 9 down to 4 or 5 the sound was perfect. I was able to return my equalizer to the normal settings I use, Rock or Electronic. If you plan to try this out in a store I suggest you pair it to your phone to hear the full sound quality. The demo is running with either a flat or no equalizer which makes the unit sound a bit dull. Use the pairing demo with your phone and make sure you have your EQ set to rock, electronic, etc. The sound will be completely different. Excellent job Bose on producing an understated, and attractive device with excellent bluetooth streaming and audio quality. I plan to add a few more SoundTouch devices in my house to stream in multiple rooms.

I have had one of these for about 5 months now and it is a quality system worth having. Ours is white... A little pricey but it works.. Would really like it 'boot' up a little quicker or maybe have a standby mode that would auto wake when it receives input. We have it as the output from the TV and its here we notice the slow startup.
