Great sound, disappointing interface

Turns on accidentally with other remotes, needs re- pairing of blue tooth connection often. Thumbs up didn't work for Pandora

Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback. You should definitely not have to re-pair Bluetooth connections often, and the thumbs up/down for Pandora should definitely be working. We are sorry to hear you are having that trouble and would like to help.

One thing that may help is to reset the SoundTouch by unplugging the power cord for about 30 seconds, then reconnecting. If that does not resolve it, there are definitely some other things to do to get it working. Please call our dedicated SoundTouch support team at 800-905-2156. All I can say is....WOW!

Amazing sound for something so small. The bass thumps, the treble chirps and the sound fills the room. I bought this for our game room which is about 900 square feet with a rather low ceiling (maybe 8 ft). It fills the room with sound to spare. I was amazed by the amount of bass put out by this unit. Considering the size, it's unbelievable that the walls and floors vibrate. I've mostly been streaming Pandora and it hits the mark. Not only is the sound great but it is super easy to set up and control. This was the fourth unit I've added to the house (I have the 525, the 20 and the SA5 attached to 4, 251s) and I think for the size, this has the best sound. The price is steep but this is probably the best sounding product, based on size Bose has sold in a while. Buy it!!

Excellent work of art

So I want to start off by saying people who buy an item without reading the description shouldn't really want to give a bad review to an item that delivers what is promised. The craftsmanship and level of innovation behind this sound system must be absolutely state-of-the-art, because the sound that comes out of this unit is astounding. I use this for my medium sized bedroom, and am extremely satisfied. What I am most impressed with is how clean and controlled the sound is. For my room, 50-60 % of volume is where it is still a pleasant sound on most tracks. at 70 and 80 you're fully immersed and invested in the sound, and at 90 and 100 it's just overwhelmingly loud. When I plug it in in my much larger den, i can stand listening to 70 and 80 % volume with upbeat music, but 90 and 100% is a little much still. I'm sure in the right mood I could be ok with 90% volume. My point being, whenever I'm listening at a moderate and pleasant volume setting, the sound is truly breathtaking. I like that it connects directly to wi-fi and plays on its own through the all-mighty Spotify and I don't have to drain my Samsung Note 5, iPad Air 2, or Macbook Pro 2015 batteries. However when Spotify doesn't cut it, I use bluetooth on any of said devices to stream whatever sound I please. It would be really cool to have a feature where you can share bluetooth with any other bluetooth device, come on big sound companies, we know it's available! It would be even cooler if wifi and bluetooth can share/stream sound with each other. I'm just saying, make it happen haha. Anyway great work Bose!

I bought this for Christmas, Love it!!! Great sound and simple to use. Bose only for me. We have the cinemate 120 which I purchased the soundtouch adapter for have them all linked with the app. Next will get the wave IV and the outside system

Exceeded my expectations

My wife got me a Soundtouch30 and two Soundtouch10's as an anniversary gift a month or so ago. I am delighted with the system in every way. Initial setup and pairing was fast and easy. The app is a fantastic interface to control the system -simple, fast, intuitive. Sound quality is excellent. I'm no "audiophile" , but I'm more than pleased with the rich, full sound from the 30. The sound quality from the "10"s is at least as good as I expected, considering the size of those speakers - we have one in a bathroom, the other in a bedroom, and they are more than adequate for rooms that size. One of the main attractions of this system for me was the "redundant" controls - they can be operated from the app, from the remote or from the touch pad on the speakers. We find ourselves using all of the different control options regularly, especially in the smaller rooms, where you can quickly turn on a speaker ( the power up and connect in about five seconds) and then easily turn it off again as you walk out of the room. When we are sitting in our living room listening to the 30, then we typically use the app on our iPads.
My only (very) minor suggestions to Bose would be to have small indicator lights on the channel buttons on the 10, so you could see which channel is selected without pulling out your phone. It's a trivial thing, but would be helpful.
Love the system, no complaints about the cost/value equation, highly recommend it!

I brought this two days ago and so happy.
I have many bose speaker systems such as wave radio, for home theater, for computer and more... but it is best size and sound.

Bose sound is and always has been great. But their SoundTouch software is almost unusable. There are constant updates, but it never gets any better.

I received the system within two days of ordering. I downloaded the app to my iPhone and setup took no more than 10 minutes. The sound is amazing. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
