Software update makes my soundtouch useless

This system worked great when I first got it. Used it about a year with no problems. I loved the sound and features. I wanted to buy another but at the time you could not link more than one together. Then a major update to the software came out and it said it had the ability to link more than one together. Awesome, wrong. The update has pretty much made it the biggest pain to use. I seldom use it anymore because it cant find the soundtouch andf i have to try to set it all up again which will take 10 to 20 minutes. What's the point I if I have to go thru all all that and then sometimess it won't ever find the sound touch. I want to just be able to bring up the app and enjoy. What a disappointment.

Not Worth the Cost

Pros:
Good Sound through Bluetooth and Aux.
Cons:
Non-User Friendly App
WiFi Setup is horrible and consider yourself lucky if you are able to get the WiFi to connect.
Conclusion:
For the cost of this speaker, you can purchase a different speaker for less that works via Bluetooth because actually being able to use the WiFi on this speaker is not an option. It does work. I went through all of the options for setting up WiFi on this speaker and none of them worked. Verified that my WiFi router settings meet the requirements and they do. Not worth the time it takes to attempt the setup that just doesn't work.

Great speakers

I just bought this speakers for Black Friday, the only thing that disappoint me is that has not airplay, which would have make it a 5 stars. I hope Bose comes out for an app for the AppleWatch, since I use this speaker in my bathroom, could've be nice if I could change songs using my watch while showering.

can't update app

no longer works because i can't update the app. when it did work it randomly shut off after different periods of time. never consistent

Try to reset your system:

Turn off the product and unplug it from power for 30 seconds. When power is reconnected, a tone is heard from the product.

Please try removing the SoundTouch app and reinstalling from your mobile device.

Unreliable defective design

i bought 2 of these so i could use them as stereo big mistake the app does not work even after several updates it does not pair up and it keeps loosing signal and i have a very strong internet service. there is no help

Think twice if you use Apple

Handy instant buttons for favorites. Sound quality seems not as pleasant as even the Mini Soundlink, perhaps too much accentuation of the honking midbass. Cannot stream AppleMusic from iPad or iPhone using WiFi, Bluetooth only. Competitors which now allow Apple Music compatibility should be considered if you expect to use AppleMusic, although some do not have the Bluetooth.
