Plays through the house. Syncs perfectly. I have controls on iPad, iPhone and MacBook. I have sirius xm on the system. I am hoping Apple Music will soon be added. It is far superior to any other streaming and I can't listen to it!!! Come on Bose!!!!

Versatile radio with room filling sound but...

I was prepared to purchase the SoundTouch 20 but the in-store sales person suggested that the 30 would give me a better listening experience for the size room I have. OK, it cost me $150 more than I was prepared to spend, but I am very glad I took their suggestion. I was able to hook it directly into the cable modem that had 4 wired jacks for faster internet connection versus wireless. I was even able to connect it to my new TV for enhanced sound.
When I was getting ready to go to bed, I could not find the sleep timer. To defeat this software omission, I set the SoundTouch 30 to Bluetooth and paired it with my iPhone 6 to listen to Calm Radio that has a built in sleep timer.
I truly believe that Bose could easily update the software to include a SLEEP TIMER button in the IOS app that interacts with the SoundTouch 30 internal software. I am especially surprised that there is currently no sleep timer as Bose advertises the SoundTouch 10 for use in bedrooms. Why would I want to go to sleep to the music and then wake up to shut off the music?
Please consider this most worthy enhancement!

Easy set up & sounds much bigger than it is. Had to get a second one for the bedroom because they are so cool & discreet. My wish list: 1. Better interface for home media, i.e., ability to play tracks in album order not alphabetical. 2. Compatibility with Google Play Music/Google Cast. 3. Sleep timer.

All of these device its awesome, the powerful bass mids and highs all it´s perfect, but i expected a little more for its price... like be PORTABLE i mean we´re on 2016 to be on the necessity to connect it to the wall... but pretty awesome sound

Speakers are great! App really needs work..

I have a pair in my living room and they work really well. I have them on a separate wireless network which keeps the streaming quality high. Great sound!
However, the app (I have iOS and an Android device) really needs some work to provide better usability on the music sources. Need better search and playlist support, especially Amazon Music. Want 5 stars? Upgrade the App. The speakers are worth it.

Good sound; times out in AUX mode

Given that this would be an ideal pairing to Echo Dot and sold together on Amazon, Bose did fix the automatic time-out in Bluetooth (it will remain on), however, they did not fix the AUX-in, it still times out after 20 min of now activity. Why fix one mode and not another.

terrible ap

I am totally frustrated trying to pair devices and get 2 speakers synced. It is driving me crazy. Sound is OK; but not fabulous. Will spend some (more) time this weekend trying to fix; just shut them off now, I am so frustrated. Seems impossible to pair more than one device. Wish I had investigated other speakers/paid more attention to reviews that mentioned poor ap quality
