Disappointed! No AirPlay 2

I just got my speaker thinking it would work with airplay based on the initial information about the product. Well I just found out that AirPlay was discontinued. What a misleading information. That was main reason getting the speaker, I guess I would return it and get a Sonos!

I bought the SoundLink Mini II and loved the sound quality, but it is limited to Bluetooth and whatever is on my MP3 play. Since the SoundLink Mini's sound quality was awesome, I bought the SoundTouch 10 to put in my bathroom. I am now reconsidering putting it in another location. The only word to state how good the sound quality is wow and the fact that I can connect to my entire music library is fantastic. I am no longer limited to the capacity limitations of my MP3 player. I also love the ability to expand the system later. My only suggestion for Bose is to be able to shuffle the entire music collection with the app instead of just the individual artists like we can with iTunes and Windows Media Player. I am sure Bose has already thought of it though and just hasn't implemented it.

Absolutely Fantastic

The speaker works like a charm. The preset buttons are great to have instant music, news or whatever they are programed for. I was very surprised to hear a full spectrum of music with solid bass, mids and highs. It sounds much better than our SoundLink Mini in every aspect. The bass is tighter and the music is more detailed than our Bose Companion 2. The music Is not as detailed as our sounddock but the 10 has deaper mids and a punchie bass.
Really, it is amazing that you get wifi, Bluetooth, presets a remote control and rich Bose sound all in a elegantly simple little unit. Well done Bose!

Fantastic system

I have two of them stereo paired. The sound is awesome. As a single piece it works well but once you pair them as stereo, the experience is elevated to different level. The sound becomes more spacious with clear vocals, deep and tight bass. Eagerly awaiting Airplay 2 feature with the hope that I would be able to use multiple streaming apps over wifi rather than Bluetooth.

Love Them

Just hooked up two speakers one at each end of the room and they sound great. You could use one they sound so good. I am terrible with computers stuff but was able to use the app pretty good. Hooking up the first speaker was easy, but adding the 2nd speaker was a bit confusing but I got it done.

say nay to the airplay nay sayers!

I don't understand what the whining is about. I use android but my son uses his iphone here all the time to play his music. No whining about airplay, so kids, use your bluetooth on those precious pieces of i-whatever. I wrote this to negate the 1 star review that I saw that was whining about lack of airplay. 1: get over yourself and 2: use your blue tooth connection. These speakers are awesome. I owe 2, a 10 and a 20. awesome, easy to use app, great sound, what more could you want?
