Good Oven - Average Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this oven about 2 years ago and I love the double oven and the way it works (bottom oven cooks slightly hotter than normal but we've adapted cooking times) however, we've had to replace the knobs on the oven twice now as the numbers fade really quickly and peel off so it's hard to tell what temp we're cooking at.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like in my primary residence which is where my husband and I live. It allows me to cook a dessert while cooking a roast, fish or veggies. I bought it for a small townhouse where my sons live close by and it’s a workhorse. Always being used. The range is wonderful and easy to use. I love the timers and the beeps that let you know when food is done.

My new LG has room for a casserole dish and it cooks whatever it is evenly without burning the top. The bottom oven is convection, so using the two shelves works out just great. I am so pleased to be a new LG consumer.

Safety hazard

The design with very sensitive knobs on the front almost caused my house to burn down. I was able to get the fire put out but now my range is ruined. Do not buy this product. I'm still waiting on LG to make it right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range replaced my 27 year old glass top range. When they hauled the old one off the glass top looked like new. Afte browning a roast in a stainless steel fry pan on this this range (first time use), it is impossible to get marks off the surface. Everything marks it, even steam & it is so difficult if not impossible to clean. The stovetop controls stick out at about stomach level making it difficult to see into the ovens & enables the burners to be turned on accidently, I wish I had my old stove back.

Poor Design for stove top knobs

Stovetop burner knobs are easily turned on and rotated; constantly when cooking just a slight touch with stomach turns knob up or down. On several occasions I have nearly burned something was unaware the knob was moved. Multiple times I was just about to leave my home and noticed "burner on" indicator was lit up. Between the Stovetop and knob is a seam and food easily gets in this crack. Poor design, need to relook.

Great new Range -same burner format-2 better ovens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly the same burner format as former. 2 better improved ovens. More timely to 2019/2020! Even phone ready! Bisque to stainless makes it appear dark in the cooking corner. However, we have under the counter lights, so we now use them. All Life is Good except the oven racks don't slide in and out readily and easy. (LG is replacing and looking that engineering has evaluated to better racks so there doesn't have to be a nationwide recall). Like the dual controlled burners and better glass top. Better, better, new, newer. Bigger ovens. Faster elements. Operates for efficiently and energy saving. I would recommend.
