Igniter switch got peeled. one of them came peeled.

Awesome Stove

I bought this stove to replace a base model (not GE) gas range in the home I recently purchased. I couldn't be happier with my new range. I love the reversible grill in the middle and the extra large burners on the front. The convection feature in the oven ensures my food cooks evenly and quickly. And I love having 3 racks for those occasions when I need to bake lots of cookies!! I also love having the broiler in the top of the range, where it should be.........not down in the drawer on the bottom like the one that came with the house. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
The only two things I would change is......the ability to adjust the brightness of the display and the volume on the sound that alerts you when the time is done.

Nice range!

This is a great range. Everything has a nice quality/feel to it. It cooks consistently whether you are using the burners, oven, or convection oven. This model has an oven light, relative sturdy bottom drawer, nice oven interface and burner control knobs. My only concern is that I can't keep the center grill/griddle clean. Mild soap and water and a scratch free plastic sponge (as suggested by GE) sort of works, but I end up with brown powdery residue on it no matter how well I clean and dry it. I would like to use it, but it does not look clean enough to cook on.

It’s ok. The burners need to be calibrated better, they have some hot spots.
They should burn cleaner and more evenly. I think i would have been better off with the less expensive models.
