Great look but griddle began rusting immediately and GE refused to replace unless I paid $95. It is also useless for griddle fare like eggs or pancakes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like my new Profile range with convention and convection bake. The surface burners cook food much quicker than my previous stove on lower heat settings. The grates are heavy duty and built to last.

Great Gas Range

I really like convection function of the oven! The performance is great as well as the design. Now that Ihave the range I'm enjoying cooking meals for my family and friends and baking became so easy and quick! I will recommend the range to my friends and family!

Love the professional look, large oven.

Using this has been a learning experience with the convection oven, but I wanted the choice, and it has both regular bake and convection. I love the large burners on top. I have the grill/griddle in the middle, but plan to purchase the cooking grate as well. The griddle has been a wonderful tool to have available. The cast iron grates are sturdy, flat and such an improvement over my last appliance. It seems to be well insulated and heats up quickly.

This is our first gas stove, and we are very pleased after two months of use. The control of the stove top burners is great for a wide range of cooking. The high BTU burners really heat large soups and stews quickly. One minor issue is that you have to push the control panel buttons pretty firmly to set the controls. The controls themselves work great! don't forget to run a break in cycle per the manual before cooking to clean out the manufacturing residues. Great stove!

The quality is fabulous, heavy duty grates. Not to mention she is so pretty. The burners work much better than our last. and it is really nice to have the optional griddle with the fifth burner. We had no idea what we were missing till we got this. Love the Black Slate color too.

Control panel bubbling up and separating

This unit is about 4 years old, we cook on it 4 out of 7 days per week. Lately we have noticed that the touch panel buttons are beginning to separate from the logic board. I suspect they used an inferior adhesive that is not heat resistant. It is a stove, it is going to get hot/warm. The glue has broken down and the bubble effect is growing larger every week. You get a bubble wrap sensation now when you touch buttons. Very disappointed overall in the short lifespan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
