I like GE but this range is not great. The burners are crowded & after 2 months the rubber stoppers that protect the stove surface from the grates completely melted!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this range based on positive reviews. I could not be more disappointed, poor quality and I do not feel that the value to price is valid. I do not recommend to buy.

Love Our Oven!

We bought this about almost 2 months ago, and we think it is powerful and great! The range had an issue with one of the burners, but GE came out and fixed it. Oven heats up quickly, and we are experimenting with the convection feature. With convection, the fan turns on and off frequently, like every few seconds. I do believe it is supposed to do that, because the food comes out pretty good. Be careful with the convection, because it can dry out some meals. For example, the meatballs in our spaghetti dish were dried out, but we over cooked it. The oven is so powerful that at times, if something calls for a certain temperature, I knock 15 degrees off, and check the food early. Especially with convection feature. But anyway, we are learning. Range is super, and grill in center was a selling point for us. Follow instructions and do not clean grill with detergents, ever. Just use hot water, and we use a little plastic scouring pad.. And don't forget to season grill before using with some cooking oil.

Love the Stainless Top!

I struggled with the extra cost of getting the Stainless Steel Top versus the Black Ceramic Top. I do not regret getting the SS, but thought it was a little over priced.
Other than that, it is a fantastic range.
If I could change one thing, it would be the way the burners Lite. They lite on max flame and stays that way and that concerns me. You have to immediately remember to dial it down to a lower flame.

So far, so good. Love the expanded cooking surface. Burners light super quick. Grill pan is very handy. Haven't used oven yet as its summer and I don't like to heat the house up, but it looks beautiful and I cant wait for a cool day to bake. My last Profile made it through 20 years of heavy use with only 1 repair and I hope this one does the same.

Very disappointed

Purchased about 4 years ago little over a year ago had to replace control board. In the last week front of oven door just fell off. This after already not being happy with uneven cooking in a convection oven.
