THIS IS A GREAT STOVE/OVEN. I BELIEVE WE WILL NOT CHANGE BRANDS, THE GE UNITS WORK SO WELL.

Overall a great purchase

We have owned this for about six months and could not be happier. The burners are fantastic at putting out very usable heat and work very well with our Cephalon commercial cookware. The oven bakes and roasts quite well and we have even used the central burner for our pancake griddle. The stainless steel is very easy to clean and quite attractive. The only thing that I don't like is the control panel, instead of touch screen it requires a bit of pressure to activate the various controls. I suspect this is a safety issue. I am thinking of adjusting the lower flame setting on the burner as even the low output burner is too much for long simmer, but it looks like that should be easy to do. My last GE product was a GE Profile range from 1993 and it worked perfectly and without any problems. I plan on the same with this one.

Happy with a few glitches

Stove is nice, however the leveling feet are plastic as well as the thread and are odd shaped which are rough on the hands. Very Very hard to turn. Also for the price we paid you would think that the people who assemble would do so correctly. The drawer was no correctly placed on the tracks that make it slide in and out. When I tried to correct it I could not get the drawer out . I had to force it out which made the drawer bend. Of course I did not realize this till after I thought I inspected thoroughly upon delivery. So I had already agreed that the product was in perfect condition, which it was not. We were able to get the drawer back in and the bend out but still upsetting considering the prices of appliances these day..REALLY PLASTIC?

I just bought this item today. Installed it and worked great. I especially like the center rack where I could sear/grill meats. Perfect for those cook meat/food in large batches.
