So far so good!

Third time is the charm. We purchased the non-Profile originally. Had a problem with the door. The unit was replaced but unfortunately the oven did not work. Was stuck on "pre-heat". The store was out of stock, so we replaced it with the Profile model. Success! This model gives us a couple additional features we like. Ability to turn the oven light on without opening the door and the reversible griddle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does everything well so far

I love this oven. I have been happy with it's baking and roasting quality and the super burners are amazing. I loved our electric glass cooktop in St Louis and hated out first range in Atlanta. The edge to edge feature of this range makes me not miss my glass cooktop (except for clean up). The center grill is uber convenient too.

I brought my gas range in Memorial Day and the oven light bulb died on me less than a month but after the tech fixed it everything seemed to work pretty good I am satisfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Stove-Top Performance

We've had this stove for 3 months now and it's seen a lot of use. Overall we're very pleased with it. The stove is well built with a solid oven door and rounded corners in most areas that prevent catching cloths or knuckles. The large burner knobs also seem better mounted than most other products we considered.
Performance of the stove top is excellent. The burners are very quick to light and can put our a good amount of heat. They can also be set to support a very low simmer. We've used the center griddle on a number of occasions and it is more useful than expected. It's great for a small number of pancakes. The only criticism is the lip that sticks out from beneath the control panel and runs the full width of the stove. This protrudes a full inch and a half into the cooking area and limits the pans that can be used - if there is a large pan on the front of the stove then you won't get anything greater than a small sauce pan behind it.
Fit and performance of the oven are also very good. GE has put a particularly bright light in the oven which is helpful. The only criticism of the oven is with the electronic controls. The bake selector and start button take a great deal of pressure to push. So much that the control panel frame actually bends back when these buttons are pushed. This is an unfortunate issue in a stove that otherwise is very good.

Little disappointed

This is a nice stove and was so excited to get it. I am a little disappointed in this stove. It is very difficult to use the push buttons on the top. I have to use the handle of a wooden spoon to get the buttons to register, and even then, sometimes it doesn't register the button that I pushed. I also have not been able to tell a difference between the convectional bake and regular bake. Although, I've never had a convection oven so I don't have anything to compare to. I just thought the convection would be much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

terrific range

we had this range installed 2 weeks ago. we are very pleased with it. we are long time g.e. buyers. this range offered all the bells and whistles we were looking for. have never had a convection oven but we are looking forward to cooking with it. the grill pan is great. i did some salmon on it and it was like cooking in a well seasoned cast iron skillet. clean up was super easy, just a little vinegar water in a spray bottle and a wipe down with a soft cloth. we love the "chef connect". it syncs our new profile microwave to the range. Love the fact that when you turn on any burner the microwave stove light comes on and so does the fan. So far we are just using vinegar water in a spray bottle and a micro fiber cloth for clean up. This is working very well. My only suggestion would be to include a Operators Manual with the range. There is a lot of info with a new range. No problem though. I emailed G.E. and they had one in the mail the next day. Great stove. Looks and cooks far beyond the price we paid.
