Great Range except one little thing

We had a 15 year old GE profile range that this range is replacing. We are glad we did this, this range is a fantastic range my only gripe is it should have come with the center grate as well it needs to ordered separately. It comes with a reversible center griddle, (also season these). The range does run hot , not physically hot but is BTU output is very high, so I do not really need to blast the pan (cook on high). It’s a great range! The burner layout is one of the widest that I have found at this depth of range. I have no issue using two 12 inch pans on the range while squeezing a sauce pan in the rear at once still use the griddle in the middle, I was not able to accomplish this with most 36 inch ranges as the depth not width and burner placement is the issue. I cook from scratch almost daily for my family of five so I will have all burners going and oven at once and this range can keep up. The convection oven has turned out some wonderful homemade braciol, Lasagna, and meatloaf. MY only wish was that GE had the same range in a slide in with the enamel top with the same burner layout at roughly the same price point but a home chief could only dream.

Sleek, stylish, and easy to use!

This replaced my 14 year old GE profile that finally broke! This one has almost all the features of my old one (I didn't get a warming drawer or probe this time around). I am loving the extra burner in the middle and the heat shield for the oven.

I love my grill!

After cooking/baking with an electric oven, which was on its very partially functioning last leg (burner), I extremely pleased, actually overjoyed, to be cooking and baking with my new beautiful GE Gas Range! The griddle is wonderful for pancakes- first item cooked on it! The oven, so far, no negative issues, the convection is wonderful, as with the broiler functions. Before purchase, I did read some ovens had issues with the oven glass fogging, mine, so far no fogging! I love my new purchase- and am extremely Grateful!

Quick Boil

Have had the range for about 2 weeks now and everything is working great! It boils water extremely fast, the oven works great.... still need to get used to the convection aspect for the quickness of cooking items. You do need to be careful with the knobs in the front. I leaned over the range to reach above the oven and somehow depressed the knob which turned the gas on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features!

We have only had the stove less then a month but both my husband and I love it. The different size burners on top of the stove are great for the different size pans we have and do they work great. My husband insisted on getting stainless steel to match the rest of our appliances so this stove has just enough stainless to please him and not too much to please me. We haven't tried the grill yet because we don't want to mess up the stove top yet, but I am sure it will be great to use. When we first got married almost 50 years ago we bought all GE appliances in avocado green, that was the in
color then. One thing, we did buy the extra burner grate for the middle burner, it's too bad it wasn't part of the stove package like the grill was. We have tried other brands but we are so happy to have GE back in our kitchen again. GE it brings good things to
