New stove

We just got this stove and already experiencing some sporadic issues. Primarily, one of the burners will not turn on unless you turn on another burner. Again, this is sporadic in nature. It has happened to various members of the family so it's not "user error ".
Also, the glass top is difficult to keep clean and fresh looking. I now know this is a common problem with glass top stoves.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The oven temp is at least 100 degrees off, the cook top has a slightly granulated texture which makes it difficult to clean, and it marks quite easily; and the light that displays that a burner is hot is not specific to the burner that was used like my previous range. It is just one red light so someone would have to guess as to which burner was used.

We have had our stove a little over a month. Use the oven about 10 times and it died. NO power. It was the week before Thanksgiving. So now we have a new mother board in the stove and I am wondering how long this one will last. I will never buy GE again

Great Range

I bought this model based in part on recommendation from a well known consumer rating service and on my past experience with GE products. This is loaded with features at a very attractive price. The 2 dual cooking surfaces provides good flexibility in selecting the correct size for the cookware. I was a little unsure how I would like the knob free controls but I'm loving it, they are easy to use and makes wiping the control panel a snap. The oven is large and has three racks. It bakes and broils very evenly. I especially love the convection option. It is well designed and well made. It is also a very attractive unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had this less than one month when it started beeping. Code 91 that doesn't exist. When I called for service, at least 10 days to get someone here. Cold food forever.

Have only used it a couple of months-the cooktop heats up quickly and has a light indicating it is still hot after the burners are turned off. However, the oven has no similar light, which it needs. It also should come with a hard copy operations manual. I know GE wants me to download the manual online, but I think it should be on GEs dime to provide the manual.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this as part of 4 piece set. The color is easy to clean and better than stainless finish. The stainless handles do show fingerprints though. The 3 interior racks are nice. I love the glass cook-top and ease of cleaning. My glass top did mark in an area though where I cannot seem to get it clean. I'll have to call the manufacturer on that. There are no knobs so cleaning that area is easy.
