I just bought this on 10/20/2017. I cannot believe how fast the oven heats up. I have baked cookies and a few breads using the convection feature and they turned out better than ever. Not an over done item!! Love the cook top and the griddle is wonderful.

Nothing beats gas stove!

We've been wanting to switch to gas for a very long time. Finally got the line run when we decided to upgrade our appliances. This GE stove is great! It looks professional without the professional prices. Very happy customer!

I've had this for 7 weeks and am disappointed. 1. The burners are just TOO. DARN. HOT. There's no such thing as a simmer. If I put my largest pot on the smaller burner at the lowest setting, it will boil. 2. The storage drawer is shallow and flimsy, and the design of the "handle" is terrible, making it awkward to pull.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't express how much I love this gas range. The griddle has been used at least 5 times and we only installed it a week ago. Warming tortillas while making tacos, cooking hot dogs on it and grilled sandwiches. I LOVE the slate color with stainless handles too.
I forgot how much I preferred gas over my old electric flat top.
My only complaint is we have propane gas instead of natural gas so we had to basically take the oven and the cook top apart and replace the natural gas part with the propane gas part. The instructions said to use a flat head screwdriver to pop the cook top up. We started doing that and it scratched coating and it didn't pop off. We thankfully changed and used a strong plastic spatula that popped it off without anymore damage. You need to change that in your directions.
