Very nice stove

We love the griddle and the heavy duty burners. I would have given this stove five stars if it had a switch for turning on the oven light. You can just open the oven door very slightly without losing the heat to turn on the light. The steam clean option for the oven is a very nice feature.

Range is great. Fast response when Lighting. Even.oven temps. Only complaint is the CHEAP conatrucrion.of storage drawer and it's slides.

I have had this stove for several months. Love all the features. I have the grill pan which does scratch so don’t use metal. It pre heats faster than my old stove.

Purchased this GE Gas Range to replace 20yo one

I have grown to really like center griddle, the straight forward features and oven timing controls of this gas range. Also it looks great in my newly re-modeled kitchen. I must say that it feels cheap and fragile compared to the 20 year old range that it replaced. The flimsiness really shows in the bottom storage drawer, door edges & handles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great but...

The operator's manual is inaccurate and confusing, and was not included with the appliance. I had to download and print it myself. I wish the knobs were made of metal, not plastic. GE got cheap wherever it could on this range.

GE Convection Oven

Out of the gate this product stands up to its reputation. Installation was fast and easy, Thank you for NOT making me buy new adaptors. I replaced a 23yr old oven that cost 2x this model, so this model has some big shores to fill in terms of longevity,TBD. The gas range top is brilliantly designed with a multitude of flame sizes and output power (BTU) to heat thing fast and uniform. Although I've not used the center griddle yet, this was one of my favorite features when making my purchasing decision. Cannot wait to put it to the Sunday morning breakfast test. The oven pre-heats very fast and appears to cook uniformly (wife made three layer cake, all three layers cooked perfectly, simultaneously) Self cleaning has yet to be tested, also looking forward to trying out the steam cleaning option. Display panel is intuitive and easy to use, need to get use to hitting the Start button. We got the stainless model, a good stainless steel (SS) appliance cleaner works best and keeps fingerprints at a minimum, and the SS looking new. It host 6 rack positions and is very large capacity to support even the biggest thanksgiving feast. Get cooking!

I looked at many models in this price range, as I was very particular about not wanting a shiny black front panel under the knobs... while that is what drew me to this model, the other features are among what I love about it: the steam clean, the one-piece grates, the 'solid' base under the burners, and especially the griddle over the center oval burner. However, the lower drawer is pretty flimsy.
The big negative aspect is that when you first turn on the oven, a good bit of gas fills the room. I talked to the installation people and had the repair/service tech came out and he told me it is a design of the oven thing... that a longer stream of gas is released before the ignition even kicks on, and it comes out of the vent un-ignited. and it will happen every time. ugh.

great looking stove

the stove looks great however I was a little disappointed with the quality of the manufacturing. The control head of the stove was not assembled correctly. the control head was not put together correctly so the control head was misaligned and screws were missing and others were stripped. I had to replace the missing screws and replace the stripped screws. Once that was done the control head was perfect.
