Nice Stove

Needed a new stove and happy we bought this. I haven't used all the features - just the basic cooking and baking and it works just fine. Only one negative: the drawer at the bottom isn't very solid.

Great range

Replaced my 10 year old double oven range which had way too many problems for the repair technicians to figure out. Was concerned about moving from two ovens to one, but the double ovens were inconsistent anyway so I figured that for the cost difference I could figure it out.
Did plenty of research and read through hundreds of these reviews - yes the new ones have a light lol
I really enjoy this GE range. Oven is true to temp, burners (propane) are very responsive and the high output burner boils water very quickly. I can even put my 20 qt canner on this burner.
I’m concerned about scratching the Teflon griddle so I keep two silicone trivets/hotpan holders on it when not in use. When it is in use, it is a fantastic way to cook up reubens, grilled cheese, pancakes for a family of six. Fried eggs/omelettes will work once you level it properly. Too narrow for large quesadillas, but works if you fold them in half.
I was thinking about buying the grate for the center to store and protect the griddle, but decided the griddle would be less handy if I had to get it out and store it. Also, my roasters are wide enough to straddle the opening while making gravy, etc.
Very happy with this purchase 4 3/4 stars

Much , much better control of burner

this new gas range had Much , much better control of the burner heat setting than the older electric. only think I am disappointed with the is bottom drawer as it is so tinny and cheap construction, and is does not slid in and out smother for a unit of this selling cost

I replaced a 30 year old range with this one and I really love it. It is stylish and has great features, especially the center griddle and steam clean feature. The grates are sturdy and the flame even and easily adjustable.

I got this for my birthday. It was a great surprise. I love the built in griddle and the heavy duty grates. The oven is large and bakes beautifully.
