The steel finish is difficult to keep clean. It was pointed out to me by a relative who had the same problem w/ her GE stove/oven, that the oven door does not close properly & that the burners' flames are uneven causing earlier darkening.
Its greatest features are the convenient bottom storage drawer & convection oven which does a good job. Also I like the on/off knobs as they seem solid.
I haven't tried the steam clean feature which I understand is good & probably won't use the self-clean feature as I'm sure it'll set off my sensitive fire alarm in the other room.
