Convection NOT worth the extra $$

I bought this oven just under a month ago. I am an avid baker and cook and was super excited to use it. THe features are nice and the stove top is bigger than I had on my previous oven. That being said, The CONVECTION aspect of it is not what a real convection is. I have baked and cooked with convection in other ovens where my food was cooked evenly and took LESS time. I made dinner last night and what should have cooked in 30 minutes on 400, took 1 hour and 20 minutes on 425 using convection! The fan should be continuously running or at least most of the time as that's what makes it cook and bake faster and evenly.
I took this oven without doing thorough research as I needed one asap and the store that I got it from told me it's a good one. (which it is on an overall base).I had time this week to research it and I must say that most of the reviews around were about the convection! Who'd have thought that I would need to look into how the convection bakes/cooks.
I am so upset that I wasted the extra money on the CONVECTION.

Very happy with this oven. Never had a convection oven before and was a little nervous using that feature, but it was very easy. The griddle is great, especially since we are a house that eats lots of pancakes. Everything on the top of the stove cleans nicely with water. The pieces are easy to lift up so that you can get at crumbs. Very happy with this purchase.

This range is compatible with my old range. I really like the griddle in the middle of the 4 burners. Its simple and straight forward to use and doesn't require a lot of tech knowledge to work it. It looks nice and the quality is excellent.

Love the griddle feature

We just switched from a Samsung Electric Range to this Gas stove. We LOVE everything about it and especially the griddle in the center. So thankful to have a gas stove once again. One thing to note, the leveling device on the front bottom are not real sturdy but with some playing with I got them to work.
