My first GE oven and very satisfied. Easy to clean. I just upgraded to the iron griddle. When we purchased it the description stated iron griddle which was a selling point but on arrival it wasn’t the iron griddle but the aluminum. We just kept it until we wore it out. Our daughter has the same GE oven and I am ordering her the iron griddle as well. It arrived quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the oven only has a steam clean. this does not do anything to clean your oven. I just warms up a little and then shuts off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're so sorry to hear that the steam cleaning is not cleaning to your standards and understand your frustration. This model oven does have the self-cleaning option, or you can always clean the oven by hand if the other cleaning options are unsatisfactory. Check page 18 of the manual for more information.

I have been using this range for 4 years now and it's still working well and looks good (when it's clean). The stovetop grates are nice and sturdy. I do wish the bottom storage drawer was sturdier, but wobbly storage drawers on ranges seems to be standard for this price range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

14 months - 2 failed control boards

had our oven less than a year when the control board malfunctioned. It was replaced in Dec 2021 and we are already experiencing another failed board.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was cleaning the knobs with dawn dishwasher soap and the plastic started to peel off. A second knob is starting to do the same thing . Why is this happing?

GE Was top notch but not anymore!

I purchased this Five years ago; It stopped heating after four years, in which the igniter was the case (in general a igniter should last for 8 years) I hired someone to fix it.
Now, after nine months the same issue occurred!! Come on!
It almost pays to buy a new one --- If you still think GE is top notch, you can start shifting your mind!!Not anymore.
I have not used them super heavily, just as a standard home owner + resting it 3 days of teh week.
