Happy with my new range

This new GE range replaces a 15-year-old GE range. I love the griddle feature. The oven is quieter and heats better than the old model. I like that the oven light goes on when the door is opened, but am disappointed that it can't be turned on when the oven is closed. I want to be able to see delicate items baking progress without opening the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Stove Cheap Knobs

Within 2 days of buying this stove I had melted the knobs on the front of it as they are plastic and only rated to 200 degrees so with the broiler on you can't leave the oven door open too long. why go so cheap on such an otherwise lovely kitchen tool?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this in July 2016, three weeks before the terrible flood. I only used it three time, but I absolutely loved it. In replacing ALL six of my appliances due to the flood, I rebought this stove alone with the microwave, side by side freezer/refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. All GE Profile series in Slate. I highly recommend the stove & I am sure assoon as I get back in to my home after it is rebuilt, I will enjoy & love the other five GE Profile appliances that I bought.
