Convenction is intimidating

I love this stove! I have to admit I haven't used the convection yet because I'm not the best baker, but my husband has and he LOVES it!!

Extremely happy with this entire line of GE products. The slate is a beautiful addition to our kitchen and beats the standard black, white or stainless look. Very sleek!

The range is nice but the bottom is about 3/8 wider than the top like it was sprung somehow guess the quality is not so great.

We bought this stove to replace a more basic Kenmore model that we'd had for only a year. On our new stove, we are especially happy with the large sturdy drawer, the heavy duty racks, the "warm" feature, and the keypad instead of arrows to adjust the temperature and timer. The top is very easy to keep clean (this is our first ceramic top stove). The burners and oven heat up very quickly. It's great to be able to see the oven temperature change on the display as it heats up. We also like the covered heating element in the bottom, since eventually I'm sure we'll spill something in there. We haven't tried the convection or cleaning features yet. We cook a lot, and we're very happy that we upgraded our stove. We did a lot of research before choosing this one, and so far, it appears to be a great choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
