Am not happy with the product it’s getting very hot from the sid because there’s no insulation around

Improved cooking surface

I had a previous smooth top GE range and I had to clean the top after every use, even just boiling water. GE seems to have changed the design on this new model to alleviate that problem. Of course it being a black top helps, but I notice the burners on this new range don't glow orange like the old model. It appears the heating element is just below the cooking top.
Accuracy of the oven is spot on, as I keep a over thermometer in the oven. As with my old range, I really enjoy the convection option. Nice to have the convection oven automatically adjust the temperature to what it should be when cooking in the convection mode.
Brighter oven light, too!

I replaced my old ge electric stove with this one and couldn't be happier. The new features are great, the power boil burner and warming zone.

Great capacity

Very pleased with the performance of the cooktop. Burners come up to temp quickly and I'm finding I do not need to use "high" as much because I'm getting a good amount of heat at a lower setting. I like having three racks in the oven for baking and enjoying quicker results with convection bake.

I bought this oven recently and have used it continuously since it was installed. I am getting used to the convection oven, but it works beautifully. The burners take a bit to warm up, but not very long. I like the hot cooktop light! It is a great feature to have since the burners may have been turned off, but the surface is still hot.
Overall it is a good stove and it looks great in my new kitchen.

I bought this to replace an older stove and my wife has been very pleased with it so far. Only complaint she has was not receiving an complete manual with purchase and having to download one.
