The oven works well. The burners do not regulate temperature. The glass top burners have the temperatures of hot, hotter, and oh, no my food just burned. Even when cooking on the lowest setting it is difficult to not over cook food. I have been cooking with a glass top stove for 15 years, this is by far the most difficult stove that I have cooked on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Convection fan won’t run

We have had our range for one month and baked in the oven maybe 6 times. When trying to bake Christmas cookies with my daughter today the convection fan would not turn on. I tried turning it off and on again, tried convection bake and convection roast...and nothing! Hoping that GE will make this good because buying a brand new convection oven that won’t work on convection a month later is an absolute joke! I also agree with many others in how difficult this stove top is to keep clean. My last stove was a ceramic top so I know how to clean them and keep them looking nice, but this one is impossible to keep spotless. Every night I spend at least 10 minutes trying to use the cleaner and yellow scrub pad to get out all the spots left behind, but have little success. So far I regret this purchase!

This stove offered all the features that I wanted in a new product. The convection range works very well for baking foods from main courses to desserts.

What a poorly designed range. You cannot put a tall pot on the back two burners because the controls hang over too closely to the burners.

My favorite thing about this stove is the expediency in how it heats to the desired temperature. Knowing how much time remains and the alert when it’s ready and when a dish is to be taken out is a big plus for me. The addition of a keep warm burner is another added convenience. “Melt” select is another plus. I love this stove because it takes so much guess work from me. Easy to clean.

My last range was GE, but 17 years old. I can’t believe how much more efficient my new range is. Using my cooktop, takes a lot less heat to warm foods and the convection oven which is new for me cooks everything so much faster, I wonder how I ever did without it. And since I also purchased a new refrigerator and a new dishwasher, I noticed that my energy bills have been a lot less, so it’s been a plus all around. So I would recommend all of my GE appliances. My dishwasher is soundless, I have to walk up to it to see if it is done. And my new Fridge has a lot more room and I can see everything so none of the food gets lost and is hiding in back of something else. I love my new appliances.
