The range is beautiful and works well. I was a little disappointed that the cook top changed appearance when the burners were turned on. At first, I thought it might go away and it did when my husband used GE's cook top cleaner, but then it comes right back. Overal though, I love this range!

missing features

We replaced a GE stove with a new convesction model. I was surprised that the burner controls don't have an LED indictaor if they're on. Also there is no " hot stovetop indicator" for each of the burners, just 1 indicator for the 5 burners. Walking into the kitchen and see that lite lit, you have to place your hand over each burner to find which one(s) were recently in use.

This is the first smooth top I've had. I don't know why I waited so long! The oven is easy to use and works great. The black slate color is perfect for my kitchen.
Not only did I buy this but I also bought the GE French Door refrigerator, GE Dishwasher, GE Microwave, and GE Range. I love them all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First off we think it is a good looking range. The black stainless cleans up nicely. As for its overall performance between the oven and the heating elements they warm quickly and cool faster than our old Kenmore. I have no problems to report.

Alittle disappointed the stove top is black. The pic online showed it to be more of a gray color. Black will be harder to keep clean.
