Great Stove!

Love the burner sizes on this smooth cooktop. The power boil is a great feature for a large pot. And the dual burner option on two of the heating elements is very handy. Like having the warming element also. Cleaning is easy with the cerama bryte. Also love the convection option so that I can bake on more than one rack. The hidden element on the bottom is also a great feature making it easy to wipe up any spills.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Average Range/Not convection thought/slow boil

Nothing special. Average range. Seems a little "flimsy" especially the door and control panel compared to my old Maytag.
Back (non warm) burner slow to heat.
Front left burner with rapid boil, seemingly melted one of my frying pans leaving residue on the glass top.
"Convection" is not what I consider true convection. buyer beware I guess, should have read the details prior to purchse.

Beautiful Range

We've had our new GE range for about a month now. We really love it. And it is very efficient. We find the stovetop burners get much hotter than our old glass-top unit, so you can use lower settings to get the temps you want. Oven also works great. Nice, attractive look in the kitchen as well.

Beautiful and Functional

We purchased our range about 6 weeks ago and so far we are not disappointed. I've never had a GE range or a convection range. I have been pleased with it so far. It is beautiful (we selected the charcoal stainless) and makes our kitchen look more modern and updated. It took me a little while to get used to the controls, but they are pretty intuitive. The back burners tend to cook hotter than the two front burners. I've tried using the oven on both the normal baking configuration and the convection baking. Both have performed well. Sometimes (depending on the food) I have to extend the timer when using the convection bake. The cooktop is relatively easy to clean with the provided Cerama Brite and nylon pad, but the downside of the dark stainless is that is shows EVERYTHING that gets on the cooktop during cooking. I have to use the Cerama Brite afterwards practically every time I use the range. The frequency you use it may depend on how OCD you are. :-)
