Lower drawer is flimsy and difficult to slide. Plastic slides break easily. Control panel protrudes out too much close to the ceramic top and pans don't fit well under it, especially if you use tall pots. Also, the control switches get steamed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works much better than any range at a great cost

Loving this unit heats up fast looks great and easy to clean. The price point is right on, hope it lasts. My last range was a fridgidaire and it was horrible. Love the convection feature and feel really spoiled to have this.
