I do like my new stove and oven. However I do not find the oven controls intuitive and have needed to pull out the owners manual several times. It is easy to clean but after a few months the top is already showing wear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've only had it a month, but so far we've been very happy with it. I like that the bottom heating elements are enclosed, makes for much easier clean up. Used the convective roasting a couple times--the main new feature compared to our old one. Great for meats, but need to adjust for less cooking time with vegetables. Yes, the timer is a little quiet for us old folks with some hearing loss. I can hear it fine enough while downstairs but need to pay attention to the time while upstairs. The top cleans nicely enough with the appropriate cleaner. (This is our second ceramic cooktop, so nothing new for us. I much prefer it over cleaning under the other electric or gas burners.) We have other GE appliances and have had no trouble with them, so hoping the same for this range.

It’s an oven. It works fine. The ceramic top is kind of hard to keep clean because if any food falls on a hot burner while you’re cooking it immediately like fuses to the top. I would’ve preferred to get white also but it was way more expensive than just getting the stainless steel and I’m not willing to pay hundreds of dollars more for a simple color change.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this oven when my 21-year-old GE stove burned out. Obviously, this brand is built to last! The burners heat up very quickly and oven cooks evenly (haven't tried the convection feature yet). It looks great and seems very sturdy as well. Going from a white stove to stainless, I didn't realize stainless is a bit more work to keep clean, but otherwise very pleased with my new GE stove!
