Glass top design?

Love the range with the exception of the glass top design. My wife is 75 and does not have good strength in her hands anymore. As a result when she has to move a heavier pot or pan she tends to drag them. We have aluminum cookware and the softer aluminum will leave marks on the glass top when aluminum is dragged across the glass top. These marks are very difficult to remove.

Heats Fast

This oven heats a lot faster than the last GE range I had. I'm trying to learn how to use the Conv bake and Conv roast features. Will have to find an actual manual to understand how to use these features. Trying to figure out if the storage drawer is off tracks or if there is a defect in the drawer opening and closing.

I am enjoying this new stove and it's range! Especially the convection option. Our old stove and range heated unevenly leaving food burnt. This stove works perfectly! Our whole family is happy with the results.

Beautiful Range

We bought this range for a rental home and our tenants absolutely love this range. The slate color with fingerprint free finish is beautiful! I gave it 4 stars because there is a small crevice in the cook top between the glass and the frame where food and crumbs can get caught. The knobs are very easy to read and use for the multiple size heating areas on the cook top.

I love everything about this stove, but especially appreciate the two inset burners in the front.Oven temperature is accurate, top is easy to keep clean, and the timer buzzer is not annoyinig!

Came Into the 21 Century

I havent had a new appliance in over 20 years. This is the first timeI have been able to afford a new applicance. When I made the decision to buy a new appliance. this GE had all the features I wanted. We started baking the day we got the stove . Everything cooks so evenly. I love the preheat feature. The stove is just absolutely beautiful.

Poor design

As a stove and oven it seems to work fine. However, there is a significant design flaw. The "control panel" sticks out in such a way that a standard 3 qt sauce pan with lid cannot sit completely on the rear burner. The sauce pan contacts the control panel leaving part of the burner with no sauce pan on it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
