This is a Marvelous Range

This is the second glass top range I’ve owned. I am very impressed with my new GE. It heats up quickly and cools down relatively fast. The glass top itself seems tough. I used to be a gas-only range cook - no longer. As a serious cook, I love my range. That said, it is only a month old, does it have the lasting power- time will tell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The oven heats up quickly. The burners heat evenly. The controls are easy to use. Be careful with the glass top, make sure you use clean or new pans to avoid/reduce surface scratching. If your frying pans have built up residue on the bottom they could scratch the surface. Clean the glass top surface after each use to maintain scratch free and clean appearance.

I’m really enjoying my new GE range.Love the slate color. We replaced frig and microwave last year and just now replaced range and dishwasher. This is the first time in almost 30 years that I’ve had a matching set of kitchen appliances!
