Bought this just before Thanksgiving. It's given me back the joy of cooking. My old Whirlpool (10 yrs) needed replacing for quite some time. Love the features esp the convection. I'm a baker so love the even heating it provides.

I bought this model after much research. It replaced a cheap gas range which I got tired of TRYING to bake with. We have the matching fridge and microwave so it had to be one of the GE slate models. The slate finish is beautiful and very easy to clean compared to either stainless or black finishes. I love the convection bake options as well as the smooth cook top with dual burner sizes and warming zone. We have used everything but the timed bake mode and everything came out pretty much perfect the first time which is surprising for a new range. I checked the temperature calibration of the oven and found it to be very close to the set point so I didn't adjust it (another nice feature if you need it). The only thing I do not like is the kitchen timer which is very quiet and not of much use.

Grew up with GE. Wouldn't have it anything else! My uncle sold GE products until he retired well into his 80"s.

Great Choice

One week before Christmas and my 3 1/2 year old electric stove broke. The GE brand had the best satisfaction reviews so I was drawn to this one based on the great features and price. The stove is beautiful and is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It is my first glass cooktop stove. It looks streamlined and clean. I've used both regular bake and convection bake with great results. The controls are intuitive, for example I did not need to read the instructions to set the clock. I absolutely love the feature for Cook Time that turns off the oven for me. It's a family joke that I'm always forgetting to turn off the oven! I'm looking forward to trying the convection roast, and the Delay Cook, and the steam clean feature which is new for me.
