Top hard to clean

This product was recommended to me by a very honest appliance repairman when he came to service my stove. It was more expensive to fix , so he recommended a GE. I'm very pleased with this product

Poor design for stovetop

Oven stopped working after three weeks. Control panel overhangs 2 back burners preventing pans from sitting on whole burner. Left back burner heats up a full minute slower than right back burner at same temperature setting. Oven took forever to heat up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oven died after 17 months.

Stove top seemed great, however after 3 months, the top control panel buttons pushed into the panel and had it replaced. Now after 17 months, the oven will not heat. None of the heating elements work at all.
An oven should last 5-10 years at a minimum. This is strange that the GE warranty doesn’t cover this kind of issue. I used to say GE is as reliable as any of the best appliances. It seems times have changed.
Would not recommend GE anymore.

Control panel stopped working

We have been purchasing GE appliances exclusively over the past 40 years but will no longer be loyal to GE. The overall quality of GE started declining about 5 or 6 years ago but we were still sold on GE based on other brands. We had do do minor repairs on various appliances over the years but nothing was so bad we would stop recommending GE products. We purchased this oven 7/14/2019 and also purchased the matching fridge, dishwasher and microwave for a remodel. The control panel stopped working a few days ago so we called out a repair person to see if it could be repaired. The panel has to be replaced and the cost will be over 1/2 of what we originally paid for the range. I expected this range to last many more years based on our GE purchases over the years. We will be looking at other brands for our new range.

Great replacement

My wife and I purchased this for our new home to replace an old cooktop/wall oven combo. We have used it for 2 weeks and are quite pleased with it's performance.
