It's a beauty

My last GE stove lasted 13 years. I was sorry to see it go. The only thing that was wrong with it was that the start button became faulty. I researched this stove and got it for a great price! The glass top is a breeze to clean. The chimes are pleasant when selecting features. Some folks were concerned about how hot the oven door becomes when in use. The only spot that gets hot is directly behind the handle of the door where the vents are. Not an issue for me. Others complained about the bottom drawer handle. I'm not thrilled with it either...sort of awkward and promotes finger prints on the stainless. I highly recommend the ceramabryte stainless cleaner. I've tried several others....this finally does the job! I'm very happy with the stove and I'm so glad they've added a "hot surface" light to the glass top. It used to be up by the knobs and that could be dangerous.

Great features, great performance

Only started using it a couple days ago but so far I'm very pleased with the purchase. Oven works great. Burners boil water much faster than my old cooktop bought in 1999. One thing I'd change is increase the watts on the warming zone. It's only 80 watts, I believe.

Best oven we have ever owned. Special features through the roof. One thing I really like about this model is dual cleaning options. Many manufactures these days only offer 'Steam Cleaning' which just plain doesn't work very well. This model offers that option and a 'Hot Cleaning' feature. Which does a great job. I've had it on other ovens. There's other features as well, Timer On/Off, Melt feature, Quick Boil, Dual and Triple Surface Controls, Made In America

Controls are easy to see and easy to use

A good looking range. Especially like having knobs, control buttons and a display that are visible at a glance and not complicated to use. I bake a lot so having the option of conventional and convection is a plus.

We got our new stove and the first time I used the oven white lines appeared under the glass top.I called the appliance store where we bought our stove,they said they had never heard of that,but to continue to use the stove. Every time I did more lines appeared. They sent out a repair person and he said "he had never seen this before" took pictures and left.The store finally put a new top on after 3 weeks. It still does have white lines under glass. Did or does anyone else have this problem. Only happens when I use the oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
