We love our new stove!

We have used our new glass-top stove with convection- and traditional-baking oven for several months now. We love it! We like having the convection bake option. You can clearly see oven contents with the light turned on, unlike older stoves. I'm still a little leery of cleaning the top (instructions seem like it's fragile and can be damaged just by using a wet dishcloth!) but I'm getting used to it. Stovetop heats fast and stays very hot. I'm learning to use the "melt" option for simmer. Can't think of any drawbacks, other than how hot the burners are. Like I said, "melt" is your simmering friend.

So far, I really like the stove and oven. I agree with some of the other reviews about the labels by the knobs. They are hard to read. It would be nice if they were a different color so you could see them without having to turn on the light. But I can live with it. I got the slate and I really love the color.

saw daughter and son-in-law's GE range and both wife and I liked it. Bought this one because it was time for a newer model and we just redid kitchen. Our old range was still OK after 24 years but it started to look ancient. This has more features and just look nice. Wife likes warmer burner.

I bought this a little over a month ago and I am still learning all the things that it does. I have been a gas stove person since I have been married over 20 years so it is taking me sometime to get used to an electric stove again. But I am getting to like it. Now if only I can just get the nerve to try the convection oven. Lol

The black color on top of the stove shows every mark, stain and is very hard to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
