Lot different than my old 12+ yr old GE oven

The new controls took a bit to get used to. They work fine, just have more than my old GE range. Could use drip pans but not a deal breaker. lightbulb went out about 1 1/2 months in. havent contacted service yet.

Excellent oven

Both ovens are a great convenience. Having the griddle built in is great too as we were able to get rid of our old, cumbersome plug in.

I would give this range 5 stars but we have had to replace the motherboard twice. If this one does not stick we will need to replace with another brand. The double ovens are wonderful. Convection bakes awesome cookies.

Not a great as expected

I did a lot of research and all makes and models and pluses and minuses. I felt that this was the best fit. The grates on top of range, are difficult to keep clean, look stained always as they are very porous. The boil burner is too hot, everything placed on it will burn or boil over have to be very careful how it is set. Both ovens cook unevenly. One side of both ovens burn food. My old cheap frigidaire range cooked more evenly than this higher end range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was so excited to have a range and two ovens in one unit. First the temperature was not correct in either oven. GE did have awesome service in getting someone out to fix it. I planned on using the top, smaller oven, for most of my baking like cookies, muffins and pizza. Nothing turned out right. Pizza burned. Then I found out that the top oven was mostly for broiling, which I never do, or casseroles, which I rarely make in oven. So I have a useless top oven and the bottom one doesn't look like it would do a very big turkey. I wish I had bought a single oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
